If I was to buy a second hand Traktor Duo, would I be able to upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro 2 for 69 Euros? Scratch Duo is selling for around about £150 -£200 on various auction sites.
I know I would only be able to use 2 turntables because of the Audio 4 interface, but I have an EKS Otus sitting here doing nothing. Would I be able to use that for decks C & D whilst only using it in midi mode?
This could mean I could get 4 deck control and DVS for around about £250.
isn’t that just the price of the traktor scratch pro upgrade kit which is a stand alone version without the hardware (which you already state you have)
I don’t have Traktor Scratch Pro or Duo at the moment, I have an EKS Otus. What I’m looking at is having 4 deck control, 2 with timecode vinyl and 2 with the Otus. I was looking at buying Traktor Scratch Pro and upgrading that, but if I can upgrade to 4 deck control with Duo, then I am quids in.
If I were you I’d just go for it. If it doesn’t work right out of the box, you can mail customer service and claim your upgrade. If they advertise an upgrade from scratch duo to scratch pro 2 on their website, I don’t think they have any other choice but giving you the upgrade.

So if you got a duo, yes you can upgrade to pro instead duo with 30 Us more.
