Syncing 2 instances of Traktor on 2 laptops…remotely?

So I have a crazy idea I’m trying to figure out and I’m not sure it’s possible. I know you can sync two instances of traktor on different computers via Ableton link over wifi. What I’m interested in attempting is to sync two instance of traktor running on different computers remotely. The idea being a b2b set with a friend on the other side of the country but coming out live on both ends. Is this possible?

You will be out of sync terribly just due to connection lag. Even if you both had 2GB connections. Otherwise, it can be done.

You could, in theory, try something like Hamachi to create a network. I can only imagined the shitshow of issues it’d throw up, though.
