Changes made to the original post with lineup. Once again we’ve had enough interest to have two trains so the race is on.
Basically what you do is record a 30 minute mix of techno/tech house. It’s a good idea to have the last minute or so be something the next DJ can mix into. If you’re next in line though try not to cut off or alter the previous DJ’s set before that final minute.
When you’re done with your mix save it as a wav file and upload it to the drop box (PM me your email for invite) The next DJ downloads the mix and cuts off the last minute or so to mix into. When you’re done paste your 30 minute set back onto the end of the set you cut the last little bit off. Upload that hour long set (if there’s only one DJ before you) to the drop box and let the next guy know it’s there.
You can post your track list and song keys, but please don’t post your mix before hand or any other parts until the whole train is completed.
WATCH YOUR LEVELS. We can boost low volume, but we can’t fix clipping. After everybody is done I’ll level the whole mix and save as a 320K mp3.
You have one week (7 days) to get your mix done and uploaded. If you can’t get it done in that amount of time we’ll either put a reserve in your spot or move the next guy up to your spot. It’s only 30 minutes folks so it shouldn’t be to hard to get done in a week. If you don’t think you can get that done then please say so now.
There’s more than enough now to start a third train, but someone else is going to have to take control of that. Say the word and I can edit these two threads.
