The Aphex Twin ‘‘On’’ sound
Hi forum, I’m relatively new to music production and was just wondering what you think rdj used to get that lead melody (pianoey) sound, as it sounds so beautiful and pure; an analog preset perhaps?

ya right an analog preset… LOL 
it’s called a goddamn PIANO. specifically a modified programmable one, but still the real thing. you can try approaching the sound with a really good multisample, but you still have to play it right (kinda like a moog is useless if you can’t play it).
