Enjoy!!!
p.s. I’ll try to put the tracklist in the next few days!!!
I have no idea what you’re talking about. Please elaborate.
Hi,
I usually spin Deep / Tech House and this time I decided to start a new project/concept called The magic box.My goal is to think out side of the “box”.
It’s like a story to me, and like every story, we need an introduction then body part and conclusion ( and sometimes stories finish with an open end ).
I’ve selected progressive tracks like “Pryda - The End” for the introduction, the great australian DJ/ Producer Steve May’s remix of “Bertie Blackman- Sky is falling” is my body and other tracks to make it more like a fairytale (mystical and magical).
The anchor song of the mix (around the 39 min mark).Rich sound, classical instruments like Violins etc… give it the classical and magical touch that I was looking for.
The last track finishes the story and leaves room for the next step of the concept … This is my conclusion part and I’m pretty happy with the final result.
I’ve put a lot of work in the construction but unfortunately my technique needs improvement. I’m still struggling with the mapping of the 2 Xone 1D’s.
I hope this clears things a little bit. Give it a second listen and you might have a different feel this time.
Thank you for your comment !!!
Thanks for clarifying. I did listen and it was good, but not knowing you I had no idea that you were out of your proverbial box.
Quality as always. Nice to hear you switch genres, although your Cinderella mix is top-class!
Pryda track is a monster opener. Loved the track you dropped after that vocal number at the half-way point… sounded like you layered a acapella over it or something with efx, no?
Keep 'em coming!!!
