The Trance Thread

I’m getting really into Trance lately, and as far as I know we don’t have a Trance “mega thread” like we do for other genres.

I really like the “Trance 2.0” style stuff, i.e the releases Anjunabeats put out.

Thanks for posting this. While the track you posted is pretty great up until the “trancey” synth breakdown, the Teardrop (Tom Fall reshizzle) on the free-download is GOLD. I’ll use it in downtempo sets and sync it to an uptempo bomb. Good lookin out.

I listen to ASOT every week. Actually I get every episode and listen to it multiple times a week.

It forms the basis of my tune shopping.

One of my friends prefers Garth Emery’s show.

My favourite trance is in the 136-140 bpm range.

I especially love FSOE releases.

This is wonderful :slight_smile: The Electro-ey bit at 3:15 onwards took me by surprise but was cool.

I like what Gareth Emery is doing lately but i am nervous about his productions becoming more for the masses. I think the electro-y side to this track is just enough:

Anjunabeats are banging out the tunes at the minute. Love what Jaytech is doing with them, but then again I’ve always preferred the more progressive side of trance:

However, Norin & Rad are right on the money at the minute. This is the sound i absolutely LOVE:

nah i much prefer Subculture, Flashover Recordings, Discover and Enhanced Recordings over Armada. way to much cheese at Armada. last thing i liked coming from Armada was W&W - AK-47…and that is one year ago now :smiley:
