any way to use do this with traktor?
the guy in the video said he installed it with reaktor and simply goes via midi conrtrols?!
he’s using Reaktor to capture the audio output from a given application / soundcard and then covert the volume or VU into midi out information which can then be used to illuminate LED’s on a controller.
the leds in the buttons are mappable, just link them to master out left and right.
have top split the controller range into 4 sections for each side.
0-0.24 - first led
0.25 - 0.49
0.5 - 0.74
0.75 - 1 - last led
midi range on all 0 (min) 127(max)
should work

did a similar thing with my dicer. got rid of it though in place of some proper uses for the buttons it took up
well can’t you still use the buttons while the leds output this fancy VU meter?
yeah, but it lacks any kind of feedback on what is/isn’t pressed or activated
I don’t know much about the LPD8, but can’t you switch pages on it? Could you dedicate this to one page, then use the other pages for actual functional stuff?
