For every one instance of the “great deal” that pops up on here there are 1000 more where people are charging anywhere from $300-$700 a deck and sometimes more. I just saw some fool advertising a pair of very used PDX2000s plus a crappy 2 CH mixer for $1100 and another guy selling a TTX1 for $450.
If you are in the right place at the right time (i.e. in front of your computer with a pile of cash at your side and the car running outside and ready to go) you can still get lucky. You might even be able to pick up some decks.
Congratulations though - this is a massive win.
$400 for all three and i tested them out there and pop up lights and pitch are all fine. He was a dj and just wanted them sold and im surprised i got them the ad was up for a week. Funny thing was he had to sl1s he was asking $400 each for.
I used to get deals like this all the time (5 1200s for $500, nib mk5 for $100, m3ds for $100, 1200s for $75, 1200s that just needed a fuse for $40) in new york city a year or two ago but its much easier when you have 9 million people to hustle craigslist. This was just 5 minutes from me in the suburbs in south florida.
Couldn’t you sell each of these for $400, getting you much closer to that DB4 you are after?
Damn! I got a set of minty fresh mk2s a few weeks ago with the original boxes, mats, covers, with new slipmats, needles, and Odyssey cases for $780 and I thought THAT was a steal.

^ how did you view listings like that? also how does it filter out all the keyword spam postings you get when you search the word technics? usually a ton more crap shows up when i search on craigslist
someone in NYC should grab that 1200 for $150
just paid £200 for a pair of 1210s with led conversion and ortofon carts. waiting for my mate to give me a lift to pick them up now.. pics will follow cant wait to get back to vinyl control need my next paycheck to buy a xone 22 now .
