I’ve been reading the website and the forum for some time now, but this is my first post on the DJTT forum. I’m rarely posting topics on forums, but right now I’m desperately looking for a solution. I’m having some problems with Traktor Pro 1.2 and my VCI 100 (fw 1.2). I’m not sure this is the best section to post such a topic tho…
I’ve been using Traktor Pro and my VCI 100 for a year or so without any problems. I’ve recently installed Windows 7 64 bit Pro edition, and now I can’t get my VCI to work, Trakor Pro just won’t receive midi signals. However, the VCI is recognized by Windows as a USB component and as an audio device. (Start > Printers/Devices). I’ve looked all over the internet for a solution, tried reinstalling TPro, but it didn’t help…
I’m having the same problem, not happy. Just got my VCI and purchased Traktor Pro. Installed the newest mapping and Traktor now seems to list the VCI as a device (prior to installing the new mapping it did not).
No midi signals are coming into Traktor either…
I don’t have an external soundcard. I just download midi ox and it doesn’t seem to “see” the VCI either.
I’m just investigating removing logitech quick cam drivers that, apparently, cause some issues…?
Well uninstalling my logitech quick cam has resulted in Traktor receiving some midi data (as noted by seeing the midi icon illuminate when i play with th VCI) but for now it’s still not responding to the VCI in terms of actually being controlled by it…
Just for completeness, I’ll post my resolution here.
So after uninstalling the logitech drivers from my system (i ended up having to download and install then uninstall said drivers) I found Traktor was receiving midi data from my VCI.
I solved the problem of Traktor not actually responding to this data by downloading and installing the update for Traktor Pro to 1.2.4 and now all is well
