traktor gater effect delay

hi everybody.

i’m havin’ this problem using the gater effect. When i turned on the gater effect is totally desyncronized with the song and sounds awful!!! and i don’t understand why is this happening.

Anybody has the same problem?

Have you set up your beatgrids???

is the beatgrid off on the track? the fxs mess up on me cuz they drift on a lot of the music that i play (non edm)

i don’t know where can i see if my beatgrids are turned on?
and what do you mean with set up my beatgrids… sorry i’m new in this program. i was actually using virtual dj.

sorry, i had to re-read my post, what I was asking was if the beatgrid lined up correctly? Cuz I have noticed that if they beatgrid is not lined up on the kick or the snare and you trigger the fx’s they sound all weird
