Traktor Kontrol F1 <-----> Ableton Live
How much longer until someone modifies a remote script for Ableton Live to turn the Kontrol F1 into a mini APC???
It seems kind of perfect, doesn’t it?
seems like a good idea as it would be ideal to use it in normal sets without having to bring big controllers! but im guessing by learning basic python scripting you could get that done in a short time (if you’re only trying to make a 4x4 launch grid). I would wanna help but I don’t have an F1 nor have I found a site that teaches Python in Ableton, but from what I have heard its not that hard to program the launch grid!
Talking about F1 and Ableton, I spotted from deadmau5’s livestream that he uses 2 Kontrol F1s for his unhooked set (+ a DJM900nexus)! which got me thinking how he maps it to Live. Here’s a screenshot that I got from a recording of his livestream: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
