Traktor Kontrol F1 - Battery pack for ipad/iphone

Hi

I have the Traktor Kontrol F1 and wanted to be able to use it both with my MBP and with Traktor DJ.

The only issue is that i will be playing out on a modified bike with speakers powered by car batteries in the middle of fields etc…
Does anybody know if it is possible to run the F1 on 12V DC instead of the rated 15V?
It would be so much easier to just hook it up to the car batteries rather than trying to use an inverter or making a 15v battery pack…

You could adapt a 15V voltage regulator from one designed to go into a vehicle cigarette lighter or accessory socket. You would need a socket and a fuse sized appropriately to prevent shorting and killing your regulator and possibly your Z1, though you might be able to get a socket with a built-in fuse. Would then be a matter of wiring it up with an on/off switch and going from there.
