Traktor Kontrol S2 + Launchpad Help!

hey, i have a traktor kontrol s2 and am thinking of purchasing a launchpad.

i want to be able to play and mix songs using my s2, and then use the launchpad to control effects in traktor, when i want, is this possible?

Absolutely, but be warned that the launchpad is made from lolly sticks. Mine broke irreparably after a short fall (crotch height onto thin carpet). For not much more dollar you can find a used F1 and they are much better, and you get to control the Remix decks fully.
