Traktor mapping app (mac only)

Traktor mapping app (mac only)

i just found this over on NI’s site  I need a PC version! :disappointed:

Looks pretty interesting, anyone using this?

AWESOME!

Only problem is…i am only on Leopard…not Snow Leopard.

HOLY CRAP!!!

You got a link to the NI thread?

EDIT:

downloading…

Edit: “The item you’ve requested is not currently available in the US store.”

oh FFS

Edit Edit: Nvm I found it manually in the app store. NOW it’s downloading

Holy shit! I wish I’d had this last week when I was mapping my Mixtrack Pro.

I have it now. Any questions?

When will you have the VCI-100 T2 mapping done?

Ha, never! I’m gonna work on a fancy LPD8 mapping today though..

The wizard thing is pretty nifty. You can basically step-by-step design a mapping from scratch

You can drag a mid .tsi file onto the dock icon to open it up in the app.

This is tooo sick!!

NEED!!!

$6…WOOT!

is it worth it?

If you want to do a complex mapping and don’t want to deal with Traktor’s tiny prefs window, yes.

Yes, even if you want to do simple mappings and not have to deal with Traktor’s ludicrously small mapping interface.

Waiting for an HID version

Do you think a third party app could do that? I don’t understand why NI doesn’t have this already. I have a feeling that there is one coming, mostly because I just spent money on one.

Lol, don’t know if it’s possible, but thx for shortening my wait time by buying this one :stuck_out_tongue:

I love how much more $6 on the internet feels like than in real life.

I’ve been messing about with it and it seems kinda buggy, at least for me and using 2 DNSC2000’s. I drag groups of stuff from my original tsi to a new one and it brings over all the info EXCEPT the CC#'s, so kinda useless. Also can’t get it to “learn” from my controllers, I’m guessing because each controller uses two midi channels? Dunno but definitely not a perfect solution yet.
