I am trying to analyze some loops i purchased from loopmaster.com, they came as .wav files and .rex files. When analyzing the .wav files to detect the bpm, it gave me this error message:
“Cannot detect BPM due to missing transients. Please analyze first”
What does this mean? And how can i use these .rex files in traktor? Do i need to convert them to something else?
that a pretty good tool to have, but it didnt work for this problem. It still says that the transients are missing. I can see having issues with syncing if i dont get them accurately analyzed. If worse comes to worse, I could just set my own beatmarker, it just is gonna be annoying to do it by hand for 2 gigs worth of samples lol
I tried analyzing small sample files. The wave form is not long enough for traktor to detect the bpm. At least that what I found out in my case. If you have loops traktor should be able to analyze the bpm.
One thing you could do but it’s a manual process is enter the bpm for each loop. Most companies that make samples and loop disc will write down on the folder or on the file the bpm.
Yup thats it. The really small samples give me trouble also. Manually enter a bpm for the sample and you should be ok. Also mp3gain is awesome, i use it for everything.
