In your Settings menu, you have to activate the appropriate controller in MIDI Settings.
Once you get gridding tracks down you’ll be fine. I can grid most EDM in just a few seconds per track at this point. There are some exceptions, but all in all it doesn’t take much.
ableton finds it - im running reason too and it finds it
yeah ni make there software a bit unintelligently - i won a copy of battery about 18 months ago .. maybe more .. only to find there was no undo function in it
Wait… you mean you uninstalled it and reinstalled it, or you just opened it for the first time ever? Or, were all of the problems you listed before in T3?
for a moment i thought that i had figured something out - there is one particular track that is doing my head in
there is a quite a large gap of silence before the track and i noticed there was a white beat grid line at the start of this where the annoying blue triangle stays and where traaktor loads it to instead of the load marker
so i thought that i would shift the whole beat grid to the right to get rid of it - another beat grid white line marker appears - i press cue to see where it plays from
it plays backwards over the yellow blocks at the start of the waveform view and then scrolls back and forth over it … when i stop doing this there is a new piece of waveform which has been placed before the song and where the silence used to be - like traktor has cut a small piece of the waveform - maybe 1/16 of a bar long and stuck it there
i wish i had taken a screen shot if it but i ended up having a tourets attack and hit the cue button a few times until it went
I have a challenge:
I cannot figure out why I cannot use the pitch slider to get .01 exact BPM value (without using sync) like I could in Traktor 3.4. I could easily move the pitch slider from say 128.33 up to 129.00; on Tpro, it seems as if I can only move in tolerances of .03 to .04…any suggestions?
