Traktor Pro Question
So I’m relatively new to Traktor and I’m wondering if there is a way to change the tempo/bpm of a song without the added effect of changing the pitch/key. I.E. can i slow a song down without sounding like barry white and speed a song up without sounding like alvin and the chipmunks?
That’s a basic notion to mixing and gear not specifically with Traktor…
But in this case you can engage key lock and I’m pretty sure it’s in the manual also…
Just click on that little yellow square with the musical note inside of it. To the left of the pitch slider inside the track “STRIPE” box. Now you should be able to change pitch (speed) without changing the pitch.
