Traktor S Pro sync Ableton

Hi people,

I’m pretty new in digital Djing but over 20 years a Vinyl DJ.
I’m trying to set up Traktor S Pro (1.2.6) and Ableton Live (8.2.1) to sync. using the same PC.
I have an Audio 8 DJ connected and a Novation 25SL MKII for Ableton. External mixing with my 10 year old-4 channel Numark DM 1285.

Here’s what I need:

1.Sync (beat) both software so I can play samples from Ableton when playing MP3’s in Traktor.
2. Use channel 3 or 4 of my mixer for Ableton (I like to use 2 decks in Traktor).
3. I’m not so interested using Vinyl control to make this work but it would be nice to have this option if needed.

I found numerous videos and articles to do this but non exactly work for me.

Ean, any chances of getting your hands into this?

Got something going

I got the Ableton getting clock from Traktor. It goes up and down a bit but it evens out pretty good.
I used LoopBe1 to be able to send the midi signal between the 2 software.
I still need to figure out how to route Ableton to the Audio DJ8 in a different channel (I have Deck A of Traktor and Ableton together now in channel 1 of the mixer).
