we are syncing through ethernet and traktor is synced to midi clock in ableton —thank you dubspot method
PROBLEM: how can I run bandmates output of ableton (backing tracks/ main mix) into s4 tracktor or ableton in order to be able to use s4/ tracktor 2 for adding on and effecting sound.
was thinking of using a deck and turning it into a line input and do u think this would work for a live setup ??
Yes that sounds right. Run the audio output of the abelton aound card into the S4. Deck D or C. Make sure you have the switch on back set correctly, and change the deck in the software to live ( not track or sample deck, duh)
I am not at computer now and can’t remember if you have to mess with the input routing in preferences, but the manual should tell you.
btw Van ur track will they blend begining part is real cold- is that your stuff? would u be open for me doing a remix of it and working it into our set?? PLEASE!! I really like it!!!
sorry ab0ut theh long time. been super busy but just wanted to let those know that this is how u do it..
sync up through ethernet ----and run cord from mixer to input of traktor change deck c or d to live audio and then use out from traktor and run back through input of mixer find it in ableton channel enable routing on the other computer and you have yourself a nice day!
