Traktor Setting - Sorting Order and Folder Updates

fellow Traktor users:

within the browser, i know how to create columns and sort accordingly.

questions:

  1. how do i make TraktorPro2 SAVE the sorting view of my choice?
  2. how can i TURN OFF updating of the folders, each time they’re selected?

one extra step, or pause, may not seem much when you think of the actual act. however, the FEEL of the software and the process of making music becomes more natural, and flows like it should. i HAVE to assume these two features do exist and i’m just the stupid one who can’t find them.

i’m sure there are many patient people out there that don’t mind this inconvenience. however, i’m not one of them. does anyone know how to eliminate them?

i was just talking about this 10 minutes ago with my mate.. he’s using folders, me traktor playlists..

to save the sorting of playlist you have to consolidate them by rightclicking.

dont know if this is possible with folders.. don’t think so..

Good god I hope they fix this in future updates, it’s truly maddening that you can’t save the sort order, I really hate having to go through the same lame steps every time I start up Traktor.

All I want is the track collection to be sorted by newest track first!
