Traktor Scrobbler v0.3 released

Can’t wait to try out the Mac Version!

Just a quick status update.

The windows-version is ready.

The Mac-version finally compiles. Its gui needs some tweaks and I need to finish the Nicecast-support.

This is how it looks currently:

I need to decide for another way to display the tabs because in the future there will be more plugins. The current way of displaying them pretty much limits their number.

Looks Good Ali.

Fuck yeah, it’s out finally

Traktor Scrobbler 1.0 for Windows and Mac OS X

+1!! Looks great. Nicecast support a big plus!

Nicecast and last.fm don’t work yet, but he’s working on it. I tested it out this morning for him and the Twitter worked great. I had to put my local host adress 127.0.0.1 in the address field and port 8008 in the port field of Traktor’s broadcasting field in preferences.. Then turn on broadcast and it should stay lit in Traktor and the app.

I set up separate twitter account to tweet to.

Nicecast should work. I tested it.

The Twitter-connect-code in the Windows-version is flawed. I’ll take care of it tomorrow.

Spoke to soon. I’ll test that out after i eat my dinner.

Just did a short 30 minute broadcast test with Nicecast and it worked great.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

yep nicecast is working just fine! thank you ali!

Very nice, thanks for the update.

Even though it doesn’t scrobble yet the tracklist & clipboard functions are very cool, much easier than exporting the html & formatting it all in notepad… That gets tiresome if you play 50+ tunes.

look up v1.0  its out now.

it makes tracklists etc

yeah, I was talking about 1.0

derp.

i read your post as:

Even though it doesn’t scrobble yet the tracklist & clipboard functions are very cool, much blah blah skip to the loo exporting the html & formatting it all in notepad… That gets tiresome if you play 50+ tunes.

hehe

it will scrobble soon. Did already the first successful test-scrobble.

Does your scrobbler/could your scrobbler do the same for Shoutcast running in Winamp?

ta!

</too lazy to search the forum>

So your streaming from within WinAmp using Shoutcast or did I get this wrong?
In that case no, it doesn’t do that. Its called Traktor Scrobbler.

Not quite. I play using TSP2, and feed the rec out from my mixer to the line in on my laptop. Winamp then picks up that signal and broadcasts using the Shoutcast DSP plugin (oh how I wish that the TSP inbuilt broadcast solution wasn’t utter poo, so Icould save myself this rigmarole)

Its currently not possible but I’ll look whether there’s a possibility to feed it with data.

On OSX it is easy. Everyone uses Nicecast. On Windows there are a lot of programs in use to Broadcast.

I’m also not too fond of using the abysmal Icecast.

I looked for an interface to deliver metadata to the Shoutcast DSP plugin but couldn’t find any. If you find something in that regard, let me know.
