I currently have traktor pro 1.2.2 running, and my NI service center says there are no updates available, but offers to upgrade, which requires a key.
anyone know how I should go about updating to the latest version? I can’t find a way to update it to 1.2.4, and I can’t use ean’s new 3.0 mapping because of my older version of traktor.
Also, due to bugginess i wanted to do a clean reinstall of traktor, delete it and reinstall, but im worried it will be deleted and then not be recoverable.
Guys, when you open Service Center, check the “Overview” tab (the one where it says you can “Upgrade” Traktor). When you click the “Show Details” arrow beside the “Upgrade” button, a drop down list will appear. This list will have your serial number and under that the location of your Traktor file. If the location is red it means that Service Center does not know where your Traktor file is and what version it is at. There is then a button to press to locate the file. After fixing the link to the file, restart Service Center and it should then say an update is available.
I had the same problem with another NI product. I recommend you check all your NI products have good links to the installed location, so all available updates appear when you open Service Center.
Cheers, Phil.
edit: cleaned up the names of the tabs once I got home.
