Traktor Z2 - SL2 (Rane SL2 Built In!!)
I have a still mint condition Serato DJ and Scratch Live certified Kontrol Z2 mixer. Yes you heard it right, just plug in one usb cable from the mixer and unlock your preferred Serato DVS with full midi control from the mixer (including serato video control from faders if that’s your thing). How is that possible you ask? Only because it has a Rane SL2 built in and integrated. Two vertical mounted switches on the back switch the mixer line input between the line input RCAs on the back and the SL2 output. The phono RCAs on the mixer are sent to the SL2 inputs as well as the mixer phono input. So, that means everything still works as normal, you can switch from real vinyl straight through the mixer (not relying on any software THRUs) to Serato or even Traktor control with a flick of the factory PHONO/LINE switch on top. If you want to play line level coming from CDJs, just flick the extra switch for that channel on the back of the mixer.
The center horizontal switch on the back panel switch the SL2 between Line or Phono timecode input, and the blue USB LED is for the SL2.
The Innofader up faders have also been modded and had the tension springs removed so they are just as loose and buttery as the crossfader. Anyone who’s used a z2 knows it’s a dope scratch mixer. Now this one will work with whatever software you want, SDJ, SSL, of course Traktor Scratch, AND RekordboxDJ! With all Innofaders! I decided to mod this mixer over switching to a Mixars DUO back when it came out because of Inno-upfaders, because I dabble in all the different softwares, and I preferred the layout/look of the Z2.
Will include a pair of Serato AND Traktor control vinyl and SL2 manual. And Z2 midi map/template for SeratoDJ. Will ship in original Z2 box and packaging.
I think $650 US shipped to any lower 48 or Canada is fair considering it’s including an SL2.
