Tunrtables Maschine Traktor Komplete

Tunrtables Maschine Traktor Komplete

I am trying to combine turntableism, modern DJ technology, and production with Maschine, Taktor, & Komplete. I just got the S8 and the MK2. I am going to take an online class thru Dubspot next week to learn Maschine but I am having difficulties getting things started. I still need to get keyboard. I already have Komplete 10 so I dont need the pay big money for the NI brand. Any other midi keyboard you would recommend that work well and have mapping for Komplete which may be comparable?

I dont know how to integrate Traktor and Maschine but I know they be synched them via midi. What is the best way to wire this in order to get the most out of it? How do I synch them once wired? Will I need an any other equipment? What ways can synch be utilized?

I have been a vinyl turntable DJ for many years. I am currently using Tech 1200s with Serato. Serato is"plug & play" compared to Traktor. What is the best way to get this going while integrating everything else?
I have found myself really in over my head! Would anyone happen to have any knowledge. advise and/or suggestions that may help get me on my way? I am ready to dive but need some direction to help get me going.
Thanks so much!!!

You are spending way too much money and way too less time! Buy a ghost producer if all you want is a hit with your name on it. If you want to get into production for the love of music you need to start enjoying the path to get there! You won’t be able to make a song that is objectivly good for some month or even years.

Go on craigslist, buy a used $20 MIDI keyboard and that’s all you need for now. You already got way more to learn than you will ever be able to master for month. Enjoy learning music theory, chords, song structures, melody writing, jazz, pop, rock, house, trap etc. Absorb it! You should get exited to learn a bit of all that! But you definitly don’t need Komplete 10, a Maschine, a MIDI keyboard and an S8 to start music production nor to master the skills required to write and produce nice tunes.
Get started!Do it! Love it! Spend nights making music

PS: Kudos to the marketing team of NI.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to me.
I am aware of how much money I have spent and I am now ready commit the time. I have spent many hours since I received the equipment and I am aware that I need much more time! I am taking on many things that I am not familiar with but I am willing and wanting to put the time in. However, I do find it frustrating when I spend hours and get answers/ results but I am not discouraged.
I know much about music theory and I know a lot about all different genres of music (my record collection is 10,000+ deep), so that is not the issue. The issue is that I am pretty much learning an entirely new language with all this software and I definitely thought it would be an easier transition and learning curve.
I am not sure what you mean by, “Buy a ghost producer if all you want is a hit with your name on it.” or “Kudos to the marketing team of NI” I am not looking for any kind of exposure or looking to market myself by posting this. I intentionally did not even use my real name or my DJ name. I am solely just looking to learn and the quicker I am able to do so, the better… that is why I am here.
I have already made several beats but I find myself limited because there is so much more I want to do but to not posses the knowledge.
As stated in my original post I am looking to integrate live production/ remixing live w DJn.
Any useful information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for your time!!
