Turning off X1's built in phase meter?

Turning off X1’s built in phase meter?

I use my X1 as part of a DVS system, and I have the phase meter and pretty much all hints turned off on screen so that I beatmatch manually.

Recently I’ve got a bit lazy and used the X1’s phase meter to help me beatmatch, and I’ve been trying to find a way to turn it off as I’ve noticed my beatmatching getting worse. I’ve actually stopped using it when I’m in the house, though this means touching my laptop to browse tracks and set loops, which is pretty much why I use the X1 in the first place!

Does anyone know how to turn it off? I want to be able to use my X1 again but I don’t want to fall into the trap of using my eyes to beatmatch and not my ears!

Thanks!

Do you just want it to light up when playing or to be no feedback.

Add Out > Select anything and set its controller signal 0 to 0. Learn it to the where the beatphase out is, the over ride default mapping.

weird my X1 has nevere had this feature turned on, guess thats a good thing as id want it off too

I use it in HID mode, I should change it to MIDI yeah? NoizeuNit do you use yours in MIDI or HID?

I want no feedback from those lights tbh, I’d prefer them just to be solid like the rest of the controller!

Just do what I said and you will be fine. Everything will work like normal and it will still be in HID. I use mine in HID.

will do that tomorrow man! thank you!

No problem!

I just leave mine in hotcue mode 99% of the time…
