Twister: Switch between mappings

Is there a easy way to switch between mappings in Twister?

I’ve downloaded one FX mapping and one prep mapping and I would like to switch between them without closing Traktor and MFU.

Is it possible?

Not possible. Something like this would require hacking Traktor’s controller manager and integrating the device manager into the MF firmware.

However switching the .mfs files would be great idea. Perhaps a side button action just like you’re switching between banks.

+1 would love this. I often use the twister with Traktor and Ableton, importing and switching. maybe a quick switch mapping previously imported in the midifighter utility?

i just received my new TWISTER and am currently working on making maps for some of my favourite iPad apps, but facing the issue of multiple mappings and switching between mappings for apps. i’ll update them after the 2.62 firmware issue is solved..

  1. another suggestion i wanted to put forward was disabling banks in mappings so as to avoid unnecessary bank shifts when there are a only few parameter knobs to program in an app

  2. another great idea i think would make a lot of sense is saving of mappings in a pre-configured folder that gets created by the UTILITY app, which trees out into individual folders for all the fighters… and to access these mappings it would be great if there was a manager window within the UTILITY app, which would in turn make it easier to setup switching between multiple mappings.
