Two versions of Traktor Pro 2 exist after upgrade.

I recently bought a TP2/S2. After the initial CD install (v2.1.0), I ran the update for v2.1.2. Following the upgrade, I now have both Traktor icons/versions.

They both work and are both different versions (i.e. it’s not two icons directed to the same version).
Any ideas why this is happening or how I might go about (safely) removing the older version?

BTW: I’m running on OS X.

That’s by design-- Traktor upgrades generally don’t remove the old version in case you run into issues; that way you can use the old version should it be needed. You should simply be able to delete the folder containing the previous version (that’s how its done on PC, not sure if its exactly the same on the Mac).
