Updating to firmware 1.4(right now) and having troubles HELP
Ok so i am up to the part where i upload the new firmware to my VCI-100 but it fails after getting to 10%. I don’t understand what i am doing wrong. i followed all of the steps and i am sure its in boot mode because it doesn’t light up. what do i do
it is failing to initiate the boot sequence
Make extra sure no buttons or the jogs are being pressed. Search the firmware update help threads for changing the advancedsetup.exe file. That seems to help lots of people.
i have the vci flipped upside down on a soft bed sheet so i think that the jog wheels are definitely being touched
I usually put mine on some rolls of tape or edges of books to make sure nothing was being touched.
