USB Power from AC While Maintaining USB MIDI Data Connectivity

Has anyone seen a dongle/adapter that will draw AC power and feed it (5 VDC) to your MIDI Contoller USB while still preserving the USB MIDI connection to your laptop?

So that you don’t have to worry about low USB power issues.

What threw me off was the fact that they always mention this in controller reviews. Like it’s a big problem.

Laptop USB power is only a problem if you’re DJing with no generator in a remote location.

Weird.
