Using wav file for remix
Hello all. Just wondering: if I wanted to build a Feed Me remix, would I be able to use the wav file of the tune, then isolate what I want and put it into a new track? Obviously there aren’t stems and ways to rebuild the track for every tune out there.
No. You can’t pull pieces out of tracks. At least, not well. You can do some stuff with EQing, switching to mono, inverting phases, etc.. But if you can’t get stems or midi files, your best bet is to try and recreate the track from scratch…which might involve recording (at least) vocals…not sure about that track…I’m pretty sure it’s deadmau5, which I don’t listen to.

Whatever. One more reason i miss vinyl. Record sleves are way easier to remember than names.
