vci 100 firmware update

vci 100 firmware update

The update kits on DJTT have been sold out for months…

So how can I do it?

I’m really annoyed by the dumb channel effect button…

BTW does anyone know for sure if Vestax is working on a new firmware? I haven’t been able to find any info on that. And you know how uncommunicative japanese are in general…

maybe inquire if you can send your unit in to have it done in their office?, I’m sure someone there will have it, and charge you an install fee.

Yeah that would be the last of my options.

I’m in Mexico and stuff gets lost in customs and postal service… or broken… or you have to pay some mysterious fee to get it back.

Isn’t there any other way to do a firmware update on this thing?

Vestax wouldn’t be of much help as their latest firmware is the 1.2 …

If you do search I remember a thread from a while back where people were mailing the firmware upgrade kit on to a new person once they were done with it. Another option would be to check and see if there is anyone in your area that has it.

I’m mega broke at the moment, but if you feel like paying for shipping to and from Canada I’d be happy to mail mine down to you. I do want to get it back though, just in case djtt ever comes out with a 1.4 firmware with high resolution jogs and faders. Speaking of, does anyone know whatever happened to that idea? Did Vestax just ixnay the whole thing to keep the vci-100 from competing with the 300?

I have seen the upgrade kit in stock a few times (since I have been visiting everyday trying to get colored knobs and faders p.s come on DJTT get them in stock) So just keep checking everyday. Anyways I digress. I think sending the upgrade kit to other people is a great idea… however the way I see it buying the kit off DJTT funds all the free stuff they do for the comunity. Maybe it would be an idea for DJTT to have a donations section where people can donate the same cost of the upgrade kit (which is very inexpensive) and have another community member send them their upgrade kit for the cost of postage. That way DJTT can keep bringing us cool free stuff and you can feel better about yourself lol.

No, perhaps you can enlighten me?

I don’t want to offend anyone, but that has been my experience. I’m not saying all japanese are the same either.

I have japanese family btw.

DJTT has no issue with people on selling the kits once they are done with them.

The kits are in stock though…

fidler, might wanna check that out again its still saying out of stock
