No i dont work for them ive been trying to get a VCI for ages.
Theres a few on eBay but they sell for £300plus which is bordering on brand new price for second hand units without warranty which im not prepared to do.
A helpful member of this forum had one for sale in USA but the shipping was gonna be a problem as im not sure that the warranty would still be valid.
Dont believe the hype, the price is going up. But at least they are in stock, brand new with FW v1.2
I dunno how they managed it as my local stockist told me that they approached Vestax directly saying the could sell 100s and Vestax wasnt interested .
So i have a brand new VCI-100 arriving on tuesday. Yippee.
Oh and tell them to stuff the £429 price tag, i got them down to £389 inc VAT and Postage. So hold off on that eBay bid and get a new one (silver and black in stock).
@Moderators - hope this is ok, im just trying to help fellow UK DJs get a VCI as they are impossible to find - until now.
and i have one off ebay which came with a snapped disk of trakotr LE so i have no way of checking if its even sending out a signal lol .
any ideas where i could check if my computer is even recognising the vci100 its obviously getting power as it is all lit up but i dont just want it to be a nicely lit paperweight .
Download the Traktor Pro Demo off the website mate. Its free and you will be able to download a TSI from DJTT and get that VCI goin. Traktor LE is only available when bundled with hardware. Its not available to buy.
Dude I can’t check this as I’m at work on my iPhone but you now own Traktor LE so you could upgrade to full PRO as cheap as buying DUO with the LE upgrade path?
Check the price structure an comparison chart you may get a good price.
@jesc I got the silver cus it matches my Mac. Altho I think I’ll buy the black knobs etc. Not fussed about the overlay.

This was the first batch to hit UK in ages. I tried to get a better price at another store and they wouldn’t believe me that the other store actually got them.
F*cked up. Vestax could be selling 1000s of them in UK according to one guy.
karlos any idea how we are gonna get our UK firmwares updated though ??? any UK users on here wanna do a meet up and change all our firmwares to 1.3 ??? or will those kits ever be back in stock lol
Yo Carlos, thanks for the heads up man! Been ringing round retailers in the U.K for 2 weeks now checking to see if they received stock of the VCI’s yet. But to be honest there is no way in hell am I payin £429 quid for one. You were saying you got yours for £389? was that over the phone or in the shop?

Yeah it was my girlfriend that rang them (she works as buyer so she got all that phone shizzle down).
They said that they would price match anyone that ‘had them in stock’ and as you know no-one has them in stock but we quoted Dolphin and DV247 who have them listed at £339 so the women said "ok my best price is £389.
You gotta remember that these are UK versions so a normal AC adapter will power it (not sure if it comes with one prob not) and they are already Firmware v1.2 so no need for the upgrade kit yet. (ill be remapping mine anyway) and 1year warranty and 30 days return if you dont like it.
Seriously they are going on eBay for well over £300 and if they are coming back into stock all the websites will be putting the prices up so the eBay ones will start going up.
Dolphin told me that when they do get them they wont be at the current price.

Hmm yea i think it would be the safest option to spend the extra cash and have peace of mind on it like. really wasn’t intending on spending this much for the VCI-100 tho, if I cant get it for £380 from decks.co.uk 2moro I don’t know what I will do. Still so tempted to get a certain one of Ebay £320 buy it now including P&P plus it had the green sticker!

Trying to look at the rear photo it looks like a USA version as it say 9volt DC which is not UK version but i emailed the seller, he says its a UK version although the printing on the back looks USA.
Yeah a budget is a budget. I dont think the Xponent is a good substitute for a VCI imho.
I keep watching them on eBay go through the £300 mark and upwards. Theres one on at £350 Buy It Now which is only £39 less than my new one… Fack that.

I emailed the guy there and he says that he bought it in London and still has the receipt so it still has a few months warranty left on it. What ya think? make the plunge, or ring decks 2moro and demand one for about £360? lol
