VCI-100 Problem
Hey, I need some serious help.
I have a VCI-100 I use with Traktor le. I had it working on my laptop that was running windows xp fine but thats has recently died. I have now re-installed the Traktor on another computer, that is running vista. For some reason traktor lets me see the vci as a controller, but wont let me click on it so it works. please help me.
Make sure you specify the vestax controller in and out port in the controller preferences window.
ok so this is what happens
vci driver install’s correctly as vestax pc controller.
In Traktor, I go to preferences-midi setup. In midi setup the vestax vci 100 is showing. In the active box there is no x. I click on it and apply, and still nothing. any ideas?
Please Help. I have no idea why this is happening. If i upgrade to pro or duo will this not happen?
This has happened to me before.
The configuration files in traktor can get fubar’d somehow.
Your user settings files will be under:-
C:\Users<USER NAME>\Documents\Native Instruments\Traktor
Try deleting that entire folder first, but be warned, you will loose ALL your settings and need to redo them. You might want to back up the folder first just incase.
Traktor will recreate default files for those you delete, this worked for me and got my VCI-100 working again.
