there is only a mapping to store cuepoints for deck A & C none for B & D by pressing shift + touching the jog wheel … or there might be mine just isnt working
I just got my Arcade and none of the buttons toggle they are just hold. All effects, loops, sample, etc. When I go to press them the loops don’t active they just flicker and then turn off.
Can I get some help please?

So I actually got it to work. It just magically worked when I restarted my system for the 3rd time. Everything works great. But for some reason about 15 mins into a little session the led’s stopped responding. I had to shut down traktor unplug the vci and redo everything for the led’s to start working again.
I’m on Snow Leopard, running traktor scratch pro 1.21, using my brand spanking new vci100 Arcade the stealth edition (black buttons 
Ean or anyone could you please help. I had this issue with my RMX but then I just updated the drivers and the firmware and that fixed my led issues. But the vci doesn’t have drivers.
Also it’s worth noting that the led’s dont work and sometimes the midi signals don’t get sent. Traktor reads them, I can see up on the top menu bar, but the effect or loop won’t turn off? What gives?
hmm .. my juggle LED doesnt light up anymore. but i am getting the feeling the LED is just dead, since all attempts at lighting it up with a custom TSI have failed

Juggle button doesn’t light up
FX ON buttons dont stay lit or keep the FX on anymore
Snap and Quantize dont light up or stay “on”
Turning Juggle on with the small POT in the top right causes my deck to jump to Cue point 3 or 4 and start playing
Non of the FX buttons stay lit or the FX activated “on”
Headphone buttons wont stay lit or “on” I only hear a burst of audio in the headphones
When I try to drag a tune into the deck, it flashes Deck Locked. Even when there is no track loaded. It loads at the second attempt.
I have non of these problems in 2.4 TSI

to everyone that is having problems with LEDS showing up please confirm that under the VCI-100 controller settings you have in AND out set to:
all ports or the vci-100 (see attachment)
without the out getting to the vci-100 none of the lights will work. I think thats the problem you are having..

My Vci Arcade edition has the following bugs when using 2.5 TSI:

Effects doesn’t keep running, the buttons act like mad.

the mapping is missing so I added it manually for anyone who is interested here they are.
also remember when mapping the above controls don’t have scratch mode enabled, it might seem obvious but that one tripped me up and had me scratching my head as to why i still could not get it working
Fix for Traktor Scratch users possible since version 1.2.3
Since version 1.2.3 of Traktor is out, I found a way to improve compatibility between VCI-100SE mappings and the use of Timecode control on the same track.
Current behavior is that the track suddenly spins forward quickly as you touch the jog wheel while timecode mode is enabled on the deck. Then you have to manually disable and re-enable scratch control mode so as to be able to scratch with the timecode. You can’t let this happen during a live set!
Latest 1.2.3 release of Traktor Pro adds the ability to control switching in internal, relative or absolute modes through MIDI.
Considering the VCI’s jog wheel is touch sensitive, you just have to add a message for the jog of each deck to set the mode to internal when touching the jog:
- add a “PlayBack Mode” message,
- select “Button” as type of control with “Hold” or “Direct” mode
- click learn while touching it, stop learn before removing your finger.
The final behavior will be that, instead of making a spinning noise everytime you touch the jog, it will just switch in internal mode and scratch with the jog. Then you can just hit the relative or absolute button to go back to timecode controlled scratch.
The only thing I couldn’t implement is to make it switch back to relative mode when I get my finger out of the jog wheel. It just doesn’t work as I expect, if anybody can help me on this…
I’ve attached my modified 2.5 VCI-SE mappings export, the two last messages added at the end of the midi-mappings are my only modifications. Those only fix deck A and B for now.
I’d love to see that improved and implemented into future VCI-100SE mappings!
just a quick one guys.i’ve followed the tutorial vids to set it all up but am getting more than 1 thing happening when moving knobs and the like e,g when i turn the fader efx on it is controlling the master volume aswell.also efx knobs are doing the same.any advice? vista home,traktor 1.2 demo,
Make sure that you have the vci midi in and out selected for the vci on the mappings page and that you don’t have any other mappings setup that have All as their midi in and out.
after restarting a few times everything seems to be ok.

my first post here.. i only use the vci100 since a few days now and still try to sort out some beginner issues. so i´m not too sure whether this is a bug or just cause of wrong handling:
When trying to scroll through folders and playlists, pressing “shift plus button up/down” closes the browser full screen view and does only scroll the crates/folders shown on top (don´t know the exact name for them.. starting with % dope tracks in the standard settings..).
Any ideas? Thx

yes- that is the standard behavior. It was either folders or crates so we chose crates

I was following the old tutorial vid and thought it still reacts the same in 2.5.
I already face a new difference:
if scratch mode is turned off, the jog wheels do not act like a cd player jog, but is only good for pitch bending functions/is turned off.
Am i too blind or is there really no new video for 2.5?
Maybe this is not the right thread for this, but when will the 2.5 overlays be available again?
..Just an idea: why don´t you sell a version with cutouts only for the plates? The middle part would then be open for own creations.

Well I Updated to Firmware 1.3 all good and then…
I imported the new TSI for traktor Pro. And Basically 90% of the buttons do not do what they are supposed to there are random things that blow out the screen to for decks. Basically to many issues to list think that pretty much everything aside from the hi mids and lows is wacked out.
I have no idea what to do lol
aside from trying to map my own.

Remove all your midi maps from TP. Reload the traktor tsi from DJTT and make sure you import all the settings and make sure that when you setup the vci only assign the vsi midi in and out, don’t leave the in and out on all.
