Man I want that unit! I looks so cool, though I wonder if there’s like a way to use effects at all if I were to map the controller to like traktor? Would that be possible? The VCI-100 even has dedicated knobs/buttons for this… Vestax has confirmed that you, it theory, could use any MIDI software.

As a newbie I cannot spot any Cue-buttons for headphones on the VCI-300, where are they?
Here’s a top view of the VCI-300:

Any headphone cueing? Maybe I’m just too…new to the game.

Please answer my Q’s if you’re able to. But hey, discuss further things about this beauty aswell :slight_smile:

Regards
Vic

I would not be surprised if you see an official vci-300 Dj TT remapping for traktor at some point:roll_eyes:

I too have been searching to find when this arrives on the market. I will get one as soon as it goes on sale.

I was really torn between this and Ean’s limited edition vci-100, but finally decided to wait for the VCI-300, although no one seems to have a firm idea of a release date.

Early reports from various sources said April. I checked with my retailer back here in Sweden but they didnt have an exact date, though April would be a fair guess.

Man I want it! Wonder when all the reviews start dropping in? I mean, Ean’s pretty much buddies with Vestax, right Ean?

You should push for an exclusive review!

The PFLA & PFLB buttons are what you would use for cueing. Or it could all be done in the software i think. The monitor select button at the top has a cue selection on it.

Which buttons are PFLA & PFLB? What do they stand for?

They are directly above each fader.

PFL means Pre -Fade Listen which allows you to listen to the channels audio before you raise the fader. It has no effect on the master output.

On traditional mixers it is used to set the level before raising the fader

Thanks alot!

I just keep dropping questions here

Another one coming, how’s the Pitch? ±6%, enough? It’s house/lounge I’ll be playing if thats any help.

You can probably choose your pitch range inside the software

Hope ITCH supports that, should do.

ohh the pitch range feature is great. its directly on the product itself. yes, I think I will be one of the first people to review it.

I was thinking, there isnt a lot of info available for the 300 that is supposedly being realeased within a couple of weeks, dont you think? Especially not for ITCH. Seratos site contains almost no info about ITCH.

The idea behing the pitch is to have more or less the same scale/ feeling as an MK2, this is because the pitch bader is slighty shorter … check the skratchworx website 'cause I think they have a good review of the vci-300 up!
