Forgive me. How does external hardware effect the sound quality? I thought the underlying software (and soundcard of course) takes care of that. So obviously w/ the VCI-300 that’s an issue. But what about w/ 2 different hardware devices both using the Audio 8?

I use mine prob 3 times a week at 2 places, one of them has an Allen+Haeth 62 mixer and a good sound system and it is not as clear and loud as a CDJ or as good as my Torq Connectiv.
I never used to have any problems with my vci-100 when it came to sound in a club, and for those who don’t have this issue are you actually playing in a club?As in my house indeed there is no problems.
Last night i re checked all my settings and ran the master on the vci quite high etc and tried it all, it was ok, sound was ok…ish…
