VCI 400 with ableton question

Hi All,

I tried to midi map my vci 400 to ableton, but nothing happens. I’m using ableton 8.1.4, when i tried to set-up the vci under ableton midi preference, there’s no vci400 on the drop down list!

Any advice on how to set-up my vci 400 as a midi controller for ableton?

Do i need to upgrade to the latest version of Ableton? (It’s working fine as it is, hence i didn’t update!)

In Preferences under the midi tab there should be “vestax midi in” under the midi ports. Make sure it’s on and remote is turned on. It won’t be in the drop down menu with control surfaces.
