Very weird S2 mic gain!
I have a strange question about the S2, Has anyone heard of the mic gain being VERY loud at it’s lowest point and gets just unusable if you try to turn it up ( howling, feedback etc.) As the Mic output goes straight through to the sound card i’m guessing it’s a hardware problem. Any thoughts?
Have you tried pluggin in a different mic?
Does the gain increase at all when you turn up the pot?
Yes it goes from very loud upwards. so basically it cannot be used and yes we have tried a different mic.
What way is your master volume on the S2?
The master gain from traktor is always around 0db. The point is the output from the Mic is way to high, a fraction away from completely off sends the gain into orbit.
I mean the volume on the hardware. Is your master set to full steam?
