Vestax New Ableton Controller?
Just got a email from a Vestax Rep since I was asking about Ableton controllers and was told one is coming NAM2012! Something new is in the works and I am looking forward to it! Anyone on here have a sneak peak or any other info on it? Someone has to be in tight with a Vestax Rep on here!

Yea I know, I juse bought the VCM-600 new for $400 shipped.. This is gonna come out and I’ll want to buy it.. I am getting the impresion it is kinda apc40+vcm600 wrapped into one..

Also, where did you find it for $400? If they’re selling for $400 new, that means tat it’s not worth selling mine………
it was a private guy on craigslistin CA, he had it listed that he got it as a gift and never used it. He sent pictures and was like make me a offer, I said $350 he said $400, I said sold, be here on Tuesday.. 
Still all boxed up and wrapped, guy is even sending me the gift receipt. His ex bought it and he never touched it for a month and needs the cash.. WIN for me! 
Can’t wait for the new one to come out tho, that should be awesome if its what I think it is!
With all the buzz about NAMM going about, I remembered this thread. Anyone heard anything of this?
not yet I am waiting for news! Hopefully it is something worth the wait. I see the new Traktor KX2 was posted on the home page, that looks worthy of a test run but hoping Vestax nails it with a new VCM600 design.
This is going to make mine impossible to sell, isn’t it?

Cant wait to see what the show has in store, certainly some interesting products that look to be unveiled .. a new Vestax controller for Ableton.. mmmm
121.75 + shipping, I can use a back up for that price.. j/k, it will still hold it’s value, new controllers will be $1k range and generate a buzz on the old.. Does the same thing every year, kids can’t afford the new buy last years model to play with.
well since the mods locked my thread in the controller section I guess we will keep this one alive.. Anyone see new controllers please post them here. I don’t feel like sifting through 20 pages of Oooos and aAaaahhs to check out the new controllers..
Judging by all the videos from the Vestax Booth the new controller is nothing more then the VCI-400. I am disappointed as I was lead to believe there was a new VCM600 in the works when they just have the same old VCM600 in the booth.. Damn, was hoping for a new toy, guess will have to test drive some of those Behringer gadgets for now..

Yea I see that, they told me to keep a eye out at Namm 2012 as they were releasing a new Ableton controller, I guess that is what the VCI-400 is suppose to be.. Disappointed to say the least..
Amazing gear stays amazing when you don’t bring it out to some dirt holes.. I have some junk I keep around for those places, the Behringer stuff would be perfect for that as well.
Imagine being in a booth on the dance floor with no barrier from you the DJ and the public who is dancing with drinks in their hands and constantly leaning over your gear to ask to play a song.. Places like this is when I break out the cheapo gear.
