Kind of a strange request but looking for someone who wants to unload a portion/all of their old collection. I want dance music but less of the whole new EDM craze. I feel like I’ve reached a wall going forward so I would like to take a step backwards and see where that takes me.
So if anyone has a collection sitting in a closet and wants to give it a good home, please let me know.
I have a collection of acid house / techno records in 12" and 10" formats. The total count is over 100 records.
The shipping might be pricey because of weight, but it will be accurate and fair. Price of the collection will be VERY reasonable and I might be down for partial cash/trade deals too.
Send me a message if you would like to talk out a deal.
don’t forget about “media” rates when it comes to shipping! I’ve mailed boxes and boxes of records during a move and it wasn’t unreasonable.. can’t remember what it was per box though…
I have a record collection of about 2000 records, from what I would consider the “peak” years of progressive house - from about 2000 to 2005; many records on compilations and spun by all the Global Underground / Renaissance DJ’s - Sasha / Digweed / Warren / Seaman / Cattaneo / Howells / Kleinenberg / Lawler etc etc…
Many of these records may be considered “filler”, many may be underground classics with some value. In some cases I will have to accept less than what I paid for them, in some cases I may want at least what I paid for them.
Rather than trying to list every record it would probably be better if you asked me if I had a particular record.
Or, maybe this is a great way for some of you to build record collections with some older records that may still get some poditive reactions on the dance floor.
Shipping this whole collection would be impossible!
I live in the NY tristate area…if any of you do and are interested, I can hand deliver if it is worth my time.
Hope to hear from you guys - loved this music then but I lost interest when I felt the quality of the tunes didn’t keep up and I was not replenishing the collection with new records every week. Taking up too much space and not being used.
Deals to be had perhaps but I will let you know ahead of time that this isn’t a “fire sale”!
