What DJ software do you use/own?

I mostly work with TP2 and TSP. At the mom. I’m trying to do some production with FL Studio. Just for fun atm.

TP2, and I’m trying to get my feet wet on ableton, but I just fail at it. Someday…

nice context :stuck_out_tongue:

“Poll: What software do you use/own?”

$20 on deckadance.

I’m surprised at how many people use live.

Traktor scratch pro 2.1.1 myself. It’s stable for me. Haven’t had the time to worry about remix decks lately or £200 spare for a controller to use them property.

Oh damn. That’s I get for making polls while I’m sleepy. :disappointed:

I’m surprised there are only 2 Mixxx users, I thought there would be at least 3 :stuck_out_tongue:

calgarc my brother! You use xwax?

Started on Itch and transitioned onto Serato Scratch Live and love them both

serato scratch live for DVS. Itch for controller gigs. Ableton for production.

…getting no votes? You’re on!

I still can’t believe xwax isn’t in last place.

Started off on itch, started using SSL because I wanted something lighter then a controller sometimes, but found that I really used the sync in itch a lot for throwing whole tracks into the sp6 to free up decks, and now since I’ve had an audio 4 for years giving traktor another shot for DVS. Bought a kontrol x1 since I figured worse comes to worse I can still use it for SSL, other then some minor gripes about library management and whining about how NI handle licensing think I’ll be using them for DVS for 4 deck. Controller? Really looking forward to getting my ddjsx

Got the full package of traktor with my S4 and its been great! A couple of beat analyizing issues with the latest update (misreading glitch hop and dubstep quite a bit) but its intergration with the S4 has suited me down to the ground.

I use traktor but all the dj’s in my area use serato. I dont understand

It’s just easier if you can use someone else’s card rather than rewire the mixer.

I’ve used several, but SSL is what I use now. I’m not a controllerist and have no desire to be. After a while of doing the all-controller thing first with Ableton then Traktor, I just got sick of it.

At this point, playing out……Pioneer CDJs (with usb sticks); at home, vinyl/SSL; portable carrying my gear……I’d seriously consider an SCS.4DJ if it’s still being made. It’s good enough for the way I usually want to spin. If I were going to incorporate Maschine or something, I’d probably just have it running on a separate channel into a mixer and do the mixing manually. But, most of the time, I feel like it’s not worth it compared to just bouncing the track and spinning it normally.
