Tape Delay
I know its some form of tape delay in Traktor, he would have it pre-set to start at a high velocity, then with a flick of his wrist, reduce it and kill it as required. Hard to explain, I use it on my F1 with Tekken’s “F1 Ultimate FX Mapping v2.1” where by you toggle it and increase the velocity of the delay with the encoder as required, enable it for a build up, increasing the velocity as the energy in the build up increases and kill it on beat at the end of a build up and it sounds great!

If you mess around with the parameters in Traktor you can get some crazy but cool delay sounds
It sounds like Strrretch (Slow) from Traktor.
It’s tape delay actually (single FX mode). He’s quickly decreasing the rate knob after activating so it sounded like stretching.
