I don’t want to be biased but Athens and Greek islands are definatelly among the best club scenes in the world. Fortunately the clubs here invite foreign DJs as only a minority of greek DJs are of an adequate level. There are venues of 1.500-2.000 all over the place in the winter, and in the summer the seasonal clubs open near the beach, so you have a full year of clubbing with high expectations.
I’m in Buffalo and the best place around me is Toronto, Ontario. Have to cross the border but it is always a good time.
i think Bay Area’s scene is pretty damn nice. Chock full of events, 3 cities to choose from (SF being the best, Santa Cruz next even though its very dubstep heavy, and Oakland last) and got a bit of variety to it (electro, dubstep, dnb, progressive trance, psytrance, glitch hop) and the “scene” is very close knit. everyone knows everyone and people are pretty damn nice. lotta PLUR goes around.
Gotta agree. I love the SF Bay Area for the vibe, creativity, and overall weirdness. Lots of good times.
wayyyy too many good times. the wierd is what makes it interesting. something tells me we’ve probably bumped into each other before and never noticed it lol
ibiza!
Ibiza defo, and im not talkin about the cheesy as fuck nights. Im on about circoloco@DC10, kehakuma@space, cacoon@amnesia etc etc
I do love amsterdam though, but it’s not in the same league as ibiza, it’s a different place all together.
Berlin is defo on my list for 2011 : D
Funny that nobody has mentioned Stockholm. But i supose for a good reason: whenever you go it’s the same kind of music (SHM, Afrojack and Avicii), not to mention the horrible taste in music most of the “clubbers” in Sweden have
Stockholm is a JOKE, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here/there!
It’s just a lot of pretentious people thinking they’re all that. And the music haha, what a joke. Swedish House Maffia the biggest joke.
The states is where it happens, and I am swedish saying this. Lived in Stockholm half my life.
