What macbook should I get?
Hey guys, I’ve been considering getting a macbook pro, but I can’t decide if I need the 15.4 " or if the 13,3" is enough. Does the macbook 13,3" work fine with Traktor 2 or is it worth considering 15.4"?
Please help me sort my mind out.

i have a late 2010 13" one and it´s totally fine! everything works like a charm.
use a 13.3 with no issues.. the 15 is to big to preform with imo.. if u need/want more screen space use the money saved to by a nice external monitor to use at home..
i have the early 13" 2011 MacBook Pro and it works great. Have never had a problem.
Sometimes I wish I had a little more screen real estate, but I don’t think 2 more inches is worth the difference in price.
I have a 2006 blackbook and it runs traktor and ableton at the same time like a charm 
2009 unibody macbook 2ghz and its kicking traktors ass 
This. I have the same and its wonderful.
I had a 15 and it was great. I felt 13 was just too small. I mean now I have a 17" and its awesome, but 15 is probably the best size imo.
Or get a macbook air 13.3…

I wish they came smaller. Unlike with dicks, laptop thickness (within reason) isn’t nearly the issue that Apple seems to think it is. I want an 11 or 12" screen on a real laptop.
Having a 24" (or whatever) display at home has made me want a smaller laptop…15" is way to big to carry, 13" is too small not to want a real screen at home…there’s no happy medium, and I think portability is more important.
If you’re worried about performance differences between models, don’t.
I use a late 2008 13 inch Macbook never had any problems with it 2.4ghz 2gb, 13s I think are perfect for clubs but at home I use a 24 inch external display when using ableton etc
I use a mid 2010 Macbook on 2GB and it works perfect for Ableton and Traktor so i wouldn’t worry too much. As for screen space, i find the 13" more than enough for everything i use it for.
That’s what I did. The new generation of (13") Airs practically equals the 13" pro concerning performance, plus you get a full SSD disk instead of a 5400rpm HDD. Next to that, the 13" Air’s resolution is also higher than the 13" Pro.
And believe me, you’ll be happy with the extra portability as it’s almost half the weight and half the thickness of a Pro.
No I’m not a fanboy. I think. 
Size doesnt matter with running traktor. Just get a 13 inch.
