What soundcard?
I have to choose between 3 soundcards.
I like the audiofire because it is firewire and i have a macbook. But i also heard that it needs an adaptor. Also it costs way more then the other 2. Maya44 has 4 ins and outs and seems to be the most for less…
So which should i chose?
I am getting the Audio 2 along with my VCI-100 SE!
It has volume controls on it which sync to Traktor’s actual volume levels! Did you know that?
Are they all the same sample rate, etc?
I saw a youtube video which also convinced me to go the Audio 2!

I recently bought a Presonus Firebox… man that thing is LOUD on the headphone. No installation on a Mac and very low latency in Traktor.

I had my mind set on the audio 8 DJ but just recently the company I work for went under. So I started looking around. I decided on the Audio 2 DJ. Same audio processing and I don’t timecode so I think the 2 is just fine for me.

i use the firebox as well.
Yeah I know that vid is for Audio 4 but I thought the only difference between that and the Audio 2 is the outputs?
It’s got even more internals and still withstood the shredding at the park so the Audio 2 with out 2 TRS should have no problem! That’s what I reckon anyways!

I have a Native Instruments Audio4DJ and I am really happy with that.
If the Audio2DJ is truly a downsized version of the Audio4DJ, then my choice would be clear.
