Just been reading an article on usb hubs and ive ordered one which is a Belkin F5U307 USB 2.0 7 Port Plus Hub, now in the article it says not to mix the 2 different speeds 1.0 & 2.0, so how can i find out what my speeds are for the following gear?
Wd external hd 2.0?
audio8 soundcard 2.0?
vestax vci-100 1.0?
kontrol x1’s 1.0?
am i correct with those speeds or if not can some on pls tell me what they are?

You’ll be hard-pressed to find something on the market that isn’t USB 2.0. And even 1.0 is next to impossible to find, because it was quickly replaced by USB 1.1. Now, I think you’ll be safe with that hub, assuming it’s powered. I’m not 100% sure on your speeds, but I think you’ll be safe.
