I got my pair of technics 1200 mk2 for $600 total. They’re pretty good.

I always see people selling M3D’s in my town for about $350/table.

Stanton str8 150 or just the 150 or even technics if there are any available.

eBay search for a few weeks n keep looking out for deals on there. Offer to pay away from eBay through PayPal this reducing fees paid by seller and could result in a reduced price for yourself. And u are still covered through PayPal!

Get used technics.

If you’re travelling with them a lot, get 1200s. If you’re using them at home mostly, get Stanton Str8-150s. The Stanton’s are really nice but they’re super heavy, I’d hate to gig with them.

Reloop RP-6000 is a strong contender

Second hand technics or st-str8 150s or any of the other super OEMs.

What do you guys think of the Numark TTX?

If you’re going for a discontinued product, go for the technics.

The numark TTX, Stanton Str8/ST 150, DJ Tech 1300 mk6 and Audio Technica 1240 are all Super OEM turntables. They should all be pretty good.

Another vote for the Stanton ST.150 or ST8.150, but any super OEM turntable should be fine.

Get your facts straight. They’re not all super OEM’s. They might have similar motor parts, but those are all pretty different tables.

The majority will tell you to go for a set of technics which is great advice as for yeas they were the only TT worth purchasing but not looking through the technic tinted glasses there are several amazing TT available. Any of the ones people have mentioned would be perfect and u will not be disappointed. Just don’t buy the first you see as there will be some bargains out there if you monitor the web.

What ever u get enjoy them.

I’m picking up a pair of these as my backup tables.

TTXs sure ain’t “super OEMs”.

I stand corrected. I wouldn’t want one of those anyway. They’re pretty ugly. I’d go with either the Stanton’s or the audio technica.

Ugly? You’re picking gear based on looks?
