Which earplugs do you use to protect your ears during gigs?

Wanting to buy earplugs for protection. Going to start wearing them to prevent hearing damage.

What earplugs have you made good or bad experiences with? Some seem to stick out very much, others dont but are pretty expensive…

Do you recommend seeing a doctor that can put you in the right direction as to which ones to buy???

Westone ER-25 musicians custom plugs. I wear them comfortably under my hd-25’s :slight_smile:

i use these for clubbing, raves, gigs, etc. i usually take them out when i DJ or during a main set. 1-2 hour of loud music is generally okay for your ears. i think..

I use etymotic er20s, which fit under myhd25s - but I have massive lugs.

I’ve also recently got a pair of shure 425s, which I’m startng to use when practicing with a view to using them live

Alpine Music safe Pro’s

I had a cheaper paid of shure IEM’s but they broke within a few months.
Looking at either custom earplugs or custom IEM’s, unsure at this moment
