I am currently shopping for a production/DJ/controllerist software. i know that traktor does DJ/controllerist, and ableton does them all, but the dj function seems kinda lame. is there any other softwares that i could use?
Decide which is your primary goal - Production OR Djing before jumping at software
The DJ/controllerist aspect of Traktor is Awesome
The Live Production aspect of Ableton can kick tractors butt, but its browser/waveforms are not ideal for normal DJ’ing.
