I can’t find this thing to buy anywhere. Even the website has no “buy it” link. The Canadian distributor has no mention of it on their website. Aarrghhh!
There was a youtube video that I saw that really bashed it. I can’t find it now, but it pretty much highlighted all of the problems with it and showed the good things too and the list of problems was like 3x as long as the good. I’d save up a bit more and a mixtrack/pro or used VCI.
I’m never gonna buy anything expensive because I live in a snobby city where nobody ever gives you a chance to DJ, even though I have like 20 years in production and lots of music out on labels. I am however not “cool” and not playing the flavor of the week either, so I don’t get to play. However promoters and DJs have no problem asking me for musical/video favors.
Yeah I figured it was nothing special, but I am DJ’ing with a Nano Kontrol. It’s gotta be better than that. Since I am staying cheap, I guess I’m just gonna go with that Hercules DJ Mp3 E2 thing.
I hear you, the MP3 E2 is a good product, I have a friend who uses it. But as I said before you can get a mixtrack for $150 brand new from guitar center, so I’d think you could find one at a price around $100 - $150. Still, the choice is up to you, but as you probably know being a producer, you can’t cut yourself short when it comes to audio. In many cases the more expensive product will be exponentially better than the cheaper one.
